Good news are that soon every person (not just companies registered in Estonia) can have .ee domain. Also it's good to know that it will be possible to have several domains for one person, not just one per company as it is now. Many of our customers have been waiting for this for a long time :)

But there are also some bad news. Now company registered in Estonia can have a .ee domain for free. By new rules there will be a fee, which is not set yet, but probably around 300 Estonian kroons per year. Not a huge sum, but an outcome anyway. Also old owners of .ee domains will have to re-register their domains. That can be done probably next year till September. When these rules are set, we will let our customers know about them and guide in this process.
